Baby Duo keeps a log of a baby's routine so the people caring for that baby can share it. This page says exactly what is stored, where, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read in full.
The short version: no ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. We don't sell or share anything with anyone. Your log lives on our own server and only people in your family can see it.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Sign in with Apple identifier, plus the name and email Apple gives us if you agree to share them | To know it's you when you come back, and to link you to your family. If you use Hide My Email, we receive Apple's relay address and never your real one. |
| The name you type when you create or join a family, and the family name | So the other caregiver can see who logged what. |
| Your baby's name and date of birth, if you choose to add them | To title the app. Both are optional. |
| The log entries: feeds, diapers, sleep, bath, medication, weight and pumping, with their time, duration, amount and any note you write | This is the product. Without it there is no app. |
On a server operated by Maden Labs, LLC and hosted at Hetzner (Germany). Every row is protected at the database level so only a member of that family can read it — that's enforced by the database engine, not by the app.
The log is also stored on your iPhone, which is what lets the app work with no coverage. If you delete the app, that local copy goes with it.
Nobody. There are no data processors beyond the hosting provider (Hetzner) and Apple, for sign-in and purchases. We don't sell data, don't hand it over, and don't use it to train anything.
For as long as you have an account. An entry you delete from the history is marked as deleted so the deletion can replicate to your other devices, and is removed from the server on the next cleanup.
Email us at support@madenlabsapp.com from the address linked to your account and we will delete your user and your entries within 30 days at the latest. If you were the last member of the family, the whole family and its history go too.
You can also revoke Baby Duo's access to your Apple ID under Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple. That cuts off access, but it does not by itself delete what is already stored — for that, email us.
Baby Duo is used by adults. The baby's details are entered by the person caring for the baby, and they are the minimum for the log to make sense: an optional name and an optional date of birth.
You can ask us for access, correction, portability or deletion of your data by writing to support@madenlabsapp.com. The app also exports your entire history to a spreadsheet from Settings, without asking anyone's permission.
If this changes, the date above changes. Any change to what data is collected will be announced inside the app before it takes effect.
